The Central Coast Condors took Spain by storm a couple of weeks ago, winning all five of their matches and capturing the Barcelona Summer Cup.
Consisting of players from up and down the Central Coast, the Condors are currently the 10th ranked youth soccer team in the nation; that’s out of nearly 6,000 squads.
“They all share a passion for the game and they all want to be here,” assistant coach Issac Briviesca said. “Every session they come out and compete and give it 110 percent, and I think that’s what makes them a little different and just a special team.”
“Being able to travel on a bus and get to your games, then travel back, and be able to relax with your whole team is really fun,” team captain Leo Jezierski said. “I really liked the experience.”
